3. We ASK the hard questions. We make the client very uncomfortable and by doing that we teach them what are the real questions that need to asked and answered. Knowing the cost of acquisition per lead and sale are just two questions that start them on a new learning curve.
4. Sales, Sales, Sales. We teach marketing, BUT, what we actually teach is how to look at marketing as the starter of the Ideal Sales Conversation. Sales has quotas, so does Marketing! We teach how to define and measure interactions throughout all conversations between customers and you.

We study teaching practices. It is not enough to teach others without constantly learning yourself. We actively follow the teaching principles of John Hattie (https://visible-learning.org/john-hattie/). These are 5 highly effective teachings practices we embrace:
1. Teacher Clarity
When a teacher begins a new unit of study or project with students, she clarifies the purpose and learning goals, and provides explicit criteria on how students can be successful. It’s ideal to also present models or examples to students so they can see what the end product looks like.
2. Classroom Discussion
Teachers need to frequently step offstage and facilitate entire class discussion. This allows students to learn from each other. It’s also a great opportunity for teachers to formatively assess (through observation) how well students are grasping new content and concepts.
How do learners know they are moving forward without steady, consistent feedback? They often won’t. Along with individual feedback (written or verbal), teachers need to provide whole-group feedback on patterns they see in the collective class’ growth and areas of need. Students also need to be given opportunities to provide feedback to the teacher so that she can adjust the learning process, materials, and instruction accordingly.
4. Formative Assessments
In order to provide students with effective and accurate feedback, teachers need to assess frequently and routinely where students are in relation to the unit of study’s learning goals or end product (summative assessment). Hattie recommends that teachers spend the same amount of time on formative evaluation as they do on summative assessment.
5. Metacognitive Strategies
Students are given opportunities to plan and organize, monitor their own work, direct their own learning, and to self-reflect along the way. When we provide students with time and space to be aware of their own knowledge and their own thinking, student ownership increases. And research shows that metacognition can be taught.

We recently completed marketing training with Jason Fairfield of ONCOR Solutions, where we focused particularly on email. The training was provided at our Club once a week for several weeks.
The training we received through ONCOR Solutions from Jason Fairfield was very well organized and presented. It was clear that Jason is very knowledgeable in the topics that were presented. His manner was very comfortable and he was able to establish a rapport with everyone in attendance.
Jason took the time to fully explain the process that is involved with the creation of email marketing programs. This included discussion of the types of email campaigns and what components make up each campaign.
The training also included storyboards for each type of campaign and a step by step process to follow to ensure that your email campaigns are well thought out and planned generate the best possible returns. We reviewed the best ways to design email messages and the copy and subject lines which can be used to increase open and click through rates.
Not only was the training informative, it was also presented in an engaging way with many real life examples and presented so that the material was easy to understand and implement.
As a result of the training being spread out over several weeks, we were able to put into practice several new procedures and test the results against previous campaigns. This demonstrated the true value of the training received as we were able to see immediate improvement in our results just by following the training Jason provided. Jason also distributed the training materials for reference and review in the future.
